Reverse Osmosis (RO) is by far the champion of quality water! RO technology enables removal of virtually all dirt, sediment, debris, limescale and harmful chemicals such as chlorides. The main membrane helps to produce nothing but pure water by way of osmosis. Although RO water alone is too pure for drinking and operation, our systems are equipped with an adjustable bypass valve in order to reintroduce the flavor minerals desired for safe great tasting water. In addition we can achieve our target of approximately 100-150 total dissolved solids (tds) while protecting equipment. You’ll now have great tasting coffee & tea and pure clear ice for cold beverages.

In past years to achieve pure water the waste ratio was 3:1. Meaning 3 gallons wasted to produce 1 gallon drinking. Today, with newer technology ratios are 1:1 or better!

RO systems are manufactured to produce a wide range of storable water. In other words prices vary. Expect to invest $1600 to $5000 or more on an RO system.

Pre-filtration

Pre-filtration, fiber or sediment filters are designed to filter out larger particles in order to preserve the life of your standard water filter. These pre-filters take on a bulk of the large debris. They are cheap and effective. Best part is, the pre-filter housing or canister are available in a clear color so you can see when they’re discolored its time to change them out. Stongly recommended!
